Cartoon Character Design
This page displays cartoon characters created during my free-lance service as a graphic artist for local clients, or for pure personal enjoyment, as well as those created in Animation 212 Character Animation and Design (Fall 2013) taught by Professor Libonaci, at East Los Angeles College.

The EnjoyLife Botanical Supplies Characters and Logo Design Project
The Smiling Rose of California
The Happy and Ferocious Dragons
The Smiling Peony and Cactus
The Smiling Moons, Pandas and Turtle
The Big Dawg
The Happy Mouse
The Happy Lion and Four Expressions Project
The objective of this project is to create a character with four different facial expressions and corresponding body gestures (happiness, anger, crying, and sadness), in Adobe Flash, and to animate the character from one expression to the other.
Geometry and Characters
The basic contours of cartoon characters could be based on three distinctive geometric shapes, i.e., circle, square and triangle. Each shape conveys some meaning for the character.
The Magic Cook, the Dreaming Waitress and the Twin Dragons
The characters below have been created for a Chinese restaurant owner in Rancho Cucamonga, California, for a restaurant menu board and interior decoration project.
The Happy Monsters
The following monster characters are created with ball point pens and color pencils.
